Another New Film!

It looks like Kay has been cast in another new film! This one is called The Disembodied and it will be released next year. Kay plays Haley in the horror film. Once again, biggest congrats to Kay! She definitely has a lot coming up in the next few months!

If you were strolling down the Riverwalk on Saturday and thought you saw Indiana Jones, Marilyn Monroe, or the Cowardly Lion from "The Wizard of Oz," your eyes weren't playing tricks on you.

They were actors publicizing the "Family Matinee," part of the closing day of the first Naperville Independent Film Festival, which started Wednesday.

Held at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson St., the event drew hundreds of visitors to a day filled with workshops and programs designed to introduce youngsters to the world of film-making.

Naperville Article

As you may know, Kay was in Naperville, Chicago this past week. Here's an article about the appearance she made. According to the article, Kay will be in the remake of the 1980 hit movie, FAME! This is huge news, so congrats to Kay for this great accomplishment smile

Naperville native Kay Panabaker has lived many teenage girls' dream: Her first kiss was with Zac Efron.

While the kiss was on-screen, she did take the High School Musical star to her prom.

Panabaker, who is perhaps best known for her roles of Nikki Westerly on the WB's "Summerland" and Debbie Berwick on the Disney Channel's "Phil of the Future," shared stories and offered advice about Hollywood to about 50 musical theater students Thursday afternoon at Naperville Central High School.

"Show business is just that. It's a business and it can be mean and cruel and vicious," Panabaker said.

Young Hollywood Party

Kay attended Teen Vogue's 6th Annual Young Hollywood Party yesturday! Her dress was really cute and she looked great! I've been having trouble finding pictures of her from the event, so there's only a few in the gallery for now. However, keep checking back to see if any more have been added smile

According to Kay's Official Site, Kay will have a recurring role on the shows "Mental" and "Lie to Me". There's not much information on either of these two shows yet, just that they are set to air in 2009. As soon as I find out any more information on any of Kay's upcoming projects, I will post an update wink

We're Back

I'm tremendously sorry for my lack of updates, but they were all in preparation for the unveiling of our new layout!! Thanks to Nicky for coding it!

I've added some new pictures to the gallery from Dylan and Cole Sprouse's Sweet 16 Birthday Party, and I'll have some videos from that up soon.

Her Official Site has been updated with some new information. Here are 3 important highlights:

September 2008 - Still juggling dueling shooting schedules, Kay has been cast in 2 feature films expected in theaters in 2009! More details as they become available!

August 2008 - Yet another recurring role added to her resume! Kay will play the teenage daughter in a one-hour drama scheduled for mid-season on Fox.

July 2008 - Kay travels to Bogota, Colombia to work on a new television show. She's now visited all 50 states, several countries and 3 continents!
